03/16/99: In an attempt to curb invalid Educational Access requests and reduce
in-house processing time, additional sanity checks have been
installed. Educational Access requests will be rejected if:
- Reverse DNS is not functioning at your location.
- The form is submitted from an obviously commercial domain.
03/08/99: We've automated the Personal Subscription form. Users presenting
valid signup and credit card info are added immediately. The old
method required manual technical and administrative handling of
requests.
02/01/99: Updated the Company Link page.
11/24/98: We've changed our look a little bit, improved loading speed, and
added a visitor page.
11/20/98: Even the common, ordinary FAX machine has communications protocols
associated with it. Here's the details.

08/20/98: Upgraded the Telecom Corner's search engine!
08/17/98: Added a quick, pull-down selection box to hyperlink quickly to a
selected page or topic. Your WWW browser must be able to support
HTTP redirection (most do) to support this feature.
08/16/98: The Telecom Corner gets its own search engine!
08/15/98: Cleaned up hit counter data (appears at bottom of each page).
08/13/98: Restructured links into restricted and non-restricted areas. Cleaned
up some header files.

04/20/98: Added a section on data interfaces (RS-232, V.35, etc.).
03/06/98: Added a description of the CAS signaling bit structure and framing
on DS0 16 of E1 systems.
12/22/97: Revamped and updated all images to improve loading speed and brower
rendering.
12/21/97: Revamped and updated all images in the voice section. The images are
now a lot smaller and load quicker.
12/13/97: Moved to its new location at: http://telecom.tbi.net.
Corrected a problem where the sponsorship ads did not show up on
some pages.
Added a new article on "Total Premise Quality" - A framework
that describes carrier competition.
10/13/97: I had temporarily restricted access to the site. I will continue to
seek sponsorship to promote the site. Thanks for all the mail on
the subject. Until further notice, the TC shall remain open.

01/02/97: Improved Company Links. Updated Favorite Links and the employment page.
01/01/97: Happy New Year! Added DDS Line Coding information...and also added
DS0 coding for DDS, for you hard-core DDS fanatics!
12/30/96: Added DDS information in the History section. Reformat of the
entire site. Added the What's New section. Relocated the NOS and
Novell section under Networking.
12/29/96: Corrected the missing links. In the ASCII chart section, that is!
Some of IBM's Extended Character set had been purged.
